Free Family Fun

I am always on the look out for fun things to do with my family here in Vegas and I love if we can do them for FREE!! I've come across a few new free things to do in the valley over the next couple weeks and thought I'd share:

Saturday April 18 from 10am-1pm Michaels stores are doing these spring crafts with kids ages 5-12 free

Free Ben & Jerry’s Cone Day
Tuesday, April 21, 2009, from noon to 8 p.m.
Galleria Mall at Sunset in Henderson & the District at Green Valley
Ben & Jerry’s will commemorate its 31st Annual “Free Cone Day” at the Galleria Mall at Sunset in Henderson with celebrity scoopers to benefit Lied Discovery Children’s Museum and at the District at Green Valley Ranch location to benefit the Nevada Community Learning Centers (formerly Classroom on Wheels). All small cones are FREE with no purchase necessary, but patrons are invited to make a donation to the respective local charity.

"Free Movie Night at The Drive-In

On Thursday, April 23rd, The Las Vegas 5 Drive-In will be hosting a Free Movie Night featuring movie blockbusters "Bedtime Stories", "Madagascar 2", and "Paul Blart: Mall Cop". "We are opening up our Drive-In to thank our loyal customers and to invite all who have not yet experienced the drive-in to give it a try" says Tony Maniscalco, Vice President of Marketing.

Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy your movie under the stars and moonlight! The Las Vegas 5 Drive-In is located at 4150 West Carey Avenue at Rancho Drive in Las Vegas. Gates will open at 6:00 pm and the movies will start at 8:00 pm.
