Sometimes it ok to look through your coupons you get on Sunday. I have gotten to the point where I am not tempted by high value coupons and want to run out and buy the item. Since store adds and grocery smarts lists run from Wednesday-Tuesday it means that the coupons we receive during that add cycle if they could be paired with the current sale aren't because the list was made BEFORE we received the coupon. Confused? Here's an example: This week Albertsons is running a Kraft promo buy $25 of participating products get $10 off your next purchase. This is one of the items participating:
***** | Oroweat Bread, 24 oz. | 3.00/1.80 | Orowheat Bread, any $1/1 (3/31/09) SS-1/18 | .80 |
Awesome deal on great
HEALTHY bread, but what if you don't have the SS 1/18? If you received your papers today with your SS 3/15 inside there is a new $1/1 any Orowheat Bread. This coupon won't be added to the list for Albertsons but YOU CAN STILL USE IT because the promotion runs through Tuesday!
Tip: You can freeze bread and defrost it latter when you need it. I do this all the time, the bread stays fresh and tastes just the same!
